BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — One person is dead after a deputy-involved shooting in Lake Isabella.
Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 1:40 a.m. Sunday to reports of a person firing a gun in the area of Kilbreth Avenue and Lake Isabella Boulevard.
KCSO says the officer-involved shooting occurred near Highway 178 after the suspect left the scene of the alleged gunshots.
