BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A 20-year-old man is dead and two others are recovering from major injuries after a car crash near Wasco.
It happened Saturday afternoon when the victim’s Toyota Camry struck a Chevy Silverado after crossing into oncoming traffic on Highway 46 west of Smith Avenue.
The 20-year-old died at the scene.
A 60-year-old man who was driving the Chevy was injured along with a female passenger.
They’re being treated at a Bakersfield hospital.
