BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A 62-year-old man is dead after crashing into a canal south of Bakersfield.
It happened Saturday evening on Herring Road west of Highway 99 when the man’s car crossed into the opposite lane onto the shoulder and into the water.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There’s no word if alcohol or drugs contributed to the accident.
