BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Police are searching for a woman who used a stolen credit card to buy an expensive laptop at a big-box store in northwest Bakersfield.
Officers say the crook stole the credit card and a phone from a woman’s purse at Trader Joe’s on Coffee Road on October 9, 2025, and used the card to buy a MacBook Pro at the Costco on Rosedale Highway.
The suspect was seen on surveillance video, police said. Images of the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle were released Thursday.
The suspect is described as a woman wearing a white hat, light blue torn jeans, a maroon and white sweater that says “KORS,” black and white shoes with a Karl Lagerfeld tote bag.
She is believed to be in a white 2004-2007 Nissan Armada.
