BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) –Two brothers are in police custody following a beating with a baseball bat in east Bakersfield.
Juan Morales, 22, and Isaias Morales, 19, were booked Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder, vandalism, and other crimes after the assault Sunday morning in the 1500 block of Nile Street.
Police say the brothers were driving recklessly and assaulted the victim after he asked them to slow down because there were children in the area.
Investigators say they have video of the alleged assault.
The brothers are due in court April 30.
