BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — The murder trial for a Bakersfield woman accused of an alcohol-fueled crash has been postponed to August 31, 2026.
Anabell Correa, 22, is charged in the deaths of Max and Desiree Mooney, both 30, who were killed last year when Correa allegedly ran a red light and struck their rideshare vehicle at the intersection of Coffee Road and Stockdale Highway.
Correa’s blood alcohol content reportedly measured above the legal limit.
