BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Authorities are working to identify a person found dead inside a burning vehicle in east Bakersfield.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office says firefighters were extinguishing the fire near Oswell and Oregon streets around 10:30 p.m. Monday when deputies arrived and discovered the body.
No suspects have been identified, and the investigation is continuing.
