METTLER, CA (KUZZ) — Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon says it’s already delivering a major economic boost to Kern County, just seven months after opening.
Casino officials say the property is expected to attract between two and three million visitors in its first year, creating jobs and driving local investment.
According to KBAK-TV, Hard Rock President Chris Kelley says the resort has quickly become one of the region’s largest hospitality employers.
The Tejon Tribe invested $10 million in a new sheriff’s and fire substation near the casino.
