TAFT, CA (KUZZ) –Police have arrested a 43-year-old man after an alleged threat with a handgun in Taft.
Authorities say Adan Olivares, Jr., was taken into custody Wednesday after officers responded to a call of a man threatening people with a gun.
Police say a loaded .40-caliber handgun was recovered along with evidence that the weapon had been fired outside a house on North Street.
Olivares faces several weapons charges as well as charges for resisting officers.
No injuries were reported.
