CALIFORNIA CITY, CA (KUZZ) — More than $100 million in federal funding is headed to California airports, including one in Kern County.
California City Airport will receive about $150,000 to resurface portions of its runway.
The FAA grants totaling $107 million will also support runway and taxiway improvements, upgraded lighting and signage, and other infrastructure projects to improve safety.
Cal City Airport is one of sixteen airports across the state sharing the federal funding.
