BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A Taft man has been sentenced to one year in jail and placed on lifetime sex offender registration after pleading no contest to possession of child pornography.
Prosecutors say Chase Anderson also received two years of probation during sentencing on Wednesday.
Anderson was 23 when he was arrested last August after investigators served a search warrant at a home on Church Street where authorities found more than 600 illegal images.
