CALIFORNIA CITY, CA (KUZZ) — The trial of a man accused of fatally shooting another customer at a California City McDonald’s has been postponed by four months.
Cameron Hill, 28, is now scheduled to stand trial on November 16 after a judge approved the delay during a hearing on Friday.
According to prosecutors, Hill allegedly shot and killed Maurice Bailey, 48, following a confrontation inside the restaurant’s bathroom in May 2024.
Hill remains in jail without bail as he awaits trial.
