RIDGECREST, CA (KUZZ) — A statewide Amber Alert issued for three Ridgecrest children was canceled Wednesday after authorities reported the children were found safe and a suspect was taken into custody.
Ridgecrest police said Maximus Roman, Kaiser Roman and Hailee Roman were located safely. Authorities also arrested Julio Roman-Garcia, 29, in connection with the case.
Police have not released where the children were found or provided additional details about the circumstances surrounding the alert.
The Amber Alert had been issued for Kern, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, Imperial and San Luis Obispo counties.
