BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — More than 90 Kern County firefighters have been deployed to help battle major wildfires burning across the West Coast.
The Kern County Fire Department said crews are assisting with wildfire suppression and incident management efforts in Southern California, Oregon, and Washington.
Fire officials said they are proud to support communities impacted by the fires while working alongside partner agencies during the ongoing response.
