ARVIN, CA (KUZZ) — A 76-year-old Palmdale man died Saturday afternoon after his Cadillac crashed into a canal east of Arvin.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving on property belonging to the Arvin-Edison Water Storage District when he suddenly turned west and entered the canal.
The vehicle was fully submerged, and the man was found dead in the driver’s seat. It remains unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
