BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — New information has emerged in the investigation into a deadly hit-and-run in southeast Bakersfield.
Court documents say Jeff Ferguson, 67, admitted he stopped after hitting Love Dixon, 17, on July 18, checked his vehicle, and then left the scene.
The crash happened in the 3400 block of Union Avenue.
Ferguson’s driver’s license was suspended, and police say Flock cameras helped investigators identify his vehicle.
Ferguson was arrested Aug. 5 and faces hit-and-run and other charges.
