WASCO, CA (KUZZ) — A former school counselor in Wasco has been sentenced to two years in prison for sexually abusing a teenage girl.
Jose Solis pleaded no contest to felony sexual battery after prosecutors said he inappropriately touched a student while working at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in May 2022.
Solis must register as a sex offender for life and is no longer employed by the school.
