BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has released new details about a December murder-suicide in northeast Bakersfield.
Pedro Gonzalez, 49, and Francis Romero, 55, were found dead Christmas night, 2025, on Blade Avenue.
The coroner’s office says Romero died from multiple gunshot wounds, and her death was ruled a homicide.
Gonzalez’s cause and manner of death have not been released.
