MCFARLAND, CA (KUZZ) — One of two suspects wanted in connection with a deadly McFarland shooting has surrendered to police.
Elvis Garcia, 19, turned himself in Wednesday night, according to police.
Garcia and 18-year-old Joshua Cortez are accused in the Aug. 22 shooting death of 26-year-old Alfonzo Espitia at a laundromat on West Perkins Avenue.
Police say Cortez confronted Espitia before shooting him several times.
Cortez remains at large.
