The Bakersfield Police Activities League is offering a free After-School Program starting August 26th for children ages 6–17. Join the 12th Annual Kern County Run/Walk on Saturday, September 20th from 8 a.m to 12 p.m. at Riverwalk Park. Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 3-11. Cancer survivors are free. The event runs from 8 AM to 12 PM, and families can register online at www.KernCountyCancerRun.org.
