Free After-School Program

The Bakersfield Police Activities League is offering a free After-School Program starting August 26th for children ages 6–17. Veterans Day at Camp Hamilton

The Heart Never Forgets Gala: Homecoming 2025

ADAKC presents The Heart Never Forgets Gala: Homecoming 2025 on Friday, November 21st from 5 to 10 PM at the Bakersfield Country Club. Dinner is served at 7. Brews & Bingo

Join the fun at Brews & Bingo on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Stockdale Boys & Girls Club(5207 Young St., Bakersfield). Doors open at 5:30 p.m., bingo starts at 6:15 p.m. Enjoy drinks, food trucks, prizes, and a “best dressed” contest! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County are now registering for Fall Day Camps, Nov. 24–26 at locations in Bakersfield and Lamont. Kids ages 4–17 can enjoy arts, STEM, and outdoor fun, with meals and snacks included.
